Orchis at sunset

I have recently returned from a trip to the south of France looking for Spring flowers, as usual when I go away with my camera the weather was cold, wet, and windy. Good for getting the plants to grow, not so good for flowering and photography. Eventually the weather did improve and I had a couple of good days.

Nottingham Catch-fly

This Nottingham Catch-fly flower shows the sky overhead for most of the time. Cold too, so the season was much later than I had hoped for.

Ophrys scolopax in the rain, but at least not windy.
